Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CodeHunter ("we", "us") handles information on the codehunter.net website and gives an overview of how our mobile apps handle data. Each app also has its own privacy policy, linked from its page under Apps and from its Google Play listing, which lists exactly what that app collects.
1. This website
The website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, processes standard technical data (IP address, browser user agent, requested page) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use this data to identify you.
If you use an app's Delete your account page, you sign in with that app's sign-in method so we can confirm the account is yours. That sign-in is used only to perform the deletion.
2. Our apps: overview
Depending on the app, we may process:
- Account information such as your name, email address and profile photo, when you sign in with Google.
- Content you create in the app, stored so it syncs across your devices.
- Diagnostics such as crash reports, used only to fix problems.
We use this information only to provide, secure and improve the app. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
Our apps run on Google Cloud and Google Firebase, which process data on our behalf in the United States under Google's data processing terms. We do not share personal data with anyone else except where required by law.
4. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted per user by security rules and limited to what is needed to operate the service.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep data while your account is active. You can delete your account and data at any time; see how to delete your account. Deletion completes within 30 days, and backups expire within a further 30 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Email us to exercise these rights and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be announced in the affected apps.
